'Hughston Health Alert' Awarded 2011 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence
(Columbus, GA; September 19, 2011) --The Foundation would like to congratulate Dennise Brogdon and Belinda Klein for their recent 2011 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence. The APEX Awards for Publication Excellence is an annual competition for writers, editors, publications staff and business and nonprofit communicators. This is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures and websites.
Dennise won the award for Health & Medical Writing for the Fall 2010 Hughston Health Alert and Belinda won for Illustration & Typography for the Winter 2010 Hughston Health Alert.
The Hughston Health Alert has placed every year since 2002 and this is the second time it won two awards in one year. Congratulations again to Dennise and Belinda and thank you to the Hughston Health Alert Editorial Board for their hard work and continued dedication to this important publication.
