Christopher S. Bowman, MD, is a native of Tennessee. He attended the University of Tennessee and studied for a year in France before attending the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC. Following residency, he spent a year as a Sports Medicine Fellow at the Hughston Clinic.

     Dr. Bowman holds memberships in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He is a peer reviewer for Arthroscopy: The Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery. He specializes in orthopaedic surgery with a focus on sports-related injuries to the upper and lower extremities.
In his free time, Dr. Bowman enjoys cooking meals for his wife and friends, reading, boating and golfing.
