Lyle A. Norwood, Jr., M.D.

 

    Lyle A. Norwood, Jr., MD, graduated from and earned his medical degree at the University of Washington. He completed an orthopaedic residency at Tulane University Affiliated Hospitals and completed a shoulder fellowship at the National Athletic Health Institute in Inglewood, California.

    Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, he holds memberships in many professional organizations such as American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.

    While serving in the United States Army, Dr. Norwood was Chief of Orthopaedic Service at Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia.

    Dr. Norwood specializes in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine with special emphasis on the shoulder and the knee.
