The Hughston Health Alert is a quarterly, musculo-skeletal health information newsletter published by the Hughston Foundation and distributed at no charge to patients, coaches, students and anyone requesting a subscription. Issues are also shipped to the YMCA and fitness centers, the Girls Club and Girls Inc., and have been provided to participants at sporting events such as the Georgia High School Soccer Association Championship and at meetings for healthcare professionals. In addition, the Hughston Health Alert is available online at www.Hughston.com/hha, where it receives over a million visits annually. The Hughston Health Alert e-mail subscriptions have grown to 3,250.

The Hughston Health Alert has been recognized by APEX: Awards for Publication Excellence every year since 2002. The APEX Award is an annual competition for writers, editors and publications staff in business and nonprofit communicators.
