Welcoming Our New Sport Medicine Fellows

For the past 30 years, the Hughston Foundation has offered graduate medical education training to over 500 residents, fellows and international fellows in orthopaedic sports medicine. The Hughston Foundation was the first training venue in sports medicine of its kind and has continued to be a pioneer in sports medicine education. The Hughston Sports Medicine Fellowship is renowned for accepting the best and brightest and this year’s class is no exception. Julie Gladden Barré, M.D., from Georgia; Yaser El-Gazzar, M.D., from New York; Erin Kawasaki, DO, from California; and Mick Maughon, M.D., from South Carolina, began their rotation in August and we expect great things from them as well.
